This is largely about the Madhouse, but it applies to a lot of events in Maple, which have an element of RNG and limited efforts. So, also things like the Dark Lords of Darkness, Hunter's Club, SAO (though that one had a paid component), MS2 Mesos and so on. An event ought to have a way to make sure everybody wins, given they strive hard enough.

Examples for the Madhouse occasion: Permit going back in if reaching the Escape space, without using up another pass. It is still possible not to find a particular page, even when allowed to roam the Madhouse forever, but it gets vanishingly unlikely. Make it possible to purchase any journal page you are missing by paying a few (large) amount of coins.

Make the chance of obtaining a page out of the appropriate reactor go up with the amount of attempts you make, until it reaches 100% or till you get the webpage. Consequently, if the prospect of a Test Tube dropping Page 2 starts out at 5%, then every time you trigger a Test Tube it'll go up by another 5%, until after 20 Test Tubes you're guaranteed of getting that webpage. When you receive the webpage the opportunity resets to 5 percent and remains there.

I'm sure different methods can be considered. The important part is, again be sure everyone who makes a sincere effort can finish the occasion. Making us work hard for our benefits is fine. But making us work hard and after that fail because of random chance, is frustrating, enraging, and unfair. Real Life does that, but we play games to escape the frustrations of actual life, not to acquire more of them.

After a couple frustrating efforts at the train and beating Shao, I've come up with a way to kill her to get Zero that should lead to no passing (it did for me, twice in a row,) plus a few(somewhat obvious, but still potentially helpful)hints for escaping the train. The majority of this relies on the skill "Time Holding" so in case you are too low to get that skill, this may not be as useful, but you still may get a few hints.

Always visit the left as that is where the last car is and the explosions you have to escape from beginning on the right. Stay on top for so much as possible as there's less things to block you and allow the explosions to grab up to you. When you need to head down, simply jump near the edge of the top of a car and you ought to get within the next one.Don't kill some of these critters, just press your potions and walk beyond them.Make sure you have your "Rewind" on if you're high enough to possess it. If you make a mistake along with the explosions buy Maplestory mobile mesos are in view, utilize "Time Holding" and try and get as far ahead of them as you can.

When she teleports, instantly press double up-arrow onto one of the (apparent, no enemies on it) preceding platforms. That's when you know there's no longer any leaf bugs down under. (The leaf bugs will kill you within one hit) Jump down and keep attacking. Repeat this until she begins spawning her giant fire charm.

When she starts spawning her giant fire spell, Maplestory Hot immediately press "Time Holding" and press double up-arrow to get on top of one of the high platforms, like before. Wait until it finishes, and jump back down. I hope this is useful to anybody stuck on Shao. I could not locate some other guides about this.
